Tradition is an album of traditional Christmas music performed by pianist Elizabeth Crew and guitarist Mark Scudder. Recorded after just two spur-of-the-moment performances in December 2009, it blends two distinctly different styles for a new, beautiful take on these classic carols.
Mark's ethereal guitar and Elizabeth's moving piano arrangements envelop the listener in an immersive atmosphere. Young and old will love Tradition. It's just as good as background music on Christmas morning as it is on headphones. We've made it available at a low price, too.
Elizabeth Crew is a classically-trained pianist; Mark Scudder
a self-taught musician, songwriter, and producer. In
December 2009, a few cancellations brought Liz and Mark
together with the need for performance partners. They
improvised, and connected immediately. After a few performances,
they decided to record Tradition.
Liz and Mark are proud to announce their dates for the 2011 Christmas season. They are proud to be adding Tioga Downs Casino & Entertainment Center and Roberson Museum and Science Center to the list this year. No more shows are being booked for the 2011 season.
